Culture plays an important role in connecting people across regions. And India is blessed to have such rich diversity that needs to be protected, preserved, and promoted. In an attempt to do this, WIF published a report on the ‘Draft Culture Policy of India’ and is now organizing an ‘International Conference on Culture’ at India International Centre (IIC) on 26th April 2022 to discuss the need for a Culture Policy in India. The event will be graced by eminent intellectuals and personalities from the field of culture and beyond.

India is endowed with incredible history, culture, and landscape and has some of the most extravagant places in the world. The idea of the Seven Regional Wonders Project is to do a yearly ranking of seven wonders from each state and union territory. This will bring to focus the hidden treasures (tourist spots) and put these tourist attractions in the spotlight for local, regional, and international travellers and boost tourism and the local economies.

The talk is based on the project’s key findings so far, which would be the places personally visited by the people, who filled the survey and contributed to the project’s primary research and how these places are important in boosting domestic, international tourism. “Dekho Apna Desh” would be the pre-eminent platform to talk over such an exciting topic.
